One of the standout features of Restoran Hasbuna is its acclaimed Satay. Many customers, including local enthusiasts, attest that it ranks among the finest in the Petaling Jaya area, even surpassing famed spots like Kajang HJ Samuri. The secret behind its success lies in the tenderness and quality of the meat used—a lean cut that is cooked to perfection, devoid of the additional fat that can compromise other satay experiences. It’s no wonder that patrons frequently return for another serving of these flavorful skewers.
But the menu doesn't stop there. The Nasi Lemak, a classic Malaysian favorite, has garnered mixed reviews; while some find the sambal reminiscent of traditional mamak-style dishes, many appreciate the nostalgic touch of being served in banana leaves. However, the bakery section shines with delicious offerings like karipap, kuih seri muka, and donat, which customers have praised as exceptional, showcasing the culinary creativity at Restoran Hasbuna.
A delightful highlight is their Roti Canai, which pairs perfectly with dahl. This isn’t just any dahl; it’s a comforting, veggie-rich concoction that warms the soul—drawing in even the most particular diners. With the food consistently receiving commendable reviews, it’s clear that Restoran Hasbuna doesn’t just serve meals; it creates memorable experiences.
Even with its humble decor, the authenticity of the dishes and the vibrant flavors present an invitation to indulge. Visit Restoran Hasbuna to savor the rich tapestry of Malaysian cuisine, where every bite tells a story, and every visit guarantees a meal filled with comfort and joy. Whether it's for the satay, the nasi lemak, or simply to enjoy a warm cup of teh tarik, this restaurant is a testament to the lasting love for Malaysian food in a local, vibrant setting.
“ Deserve solid 4 star. Im going there purposely to taste nasi lemak which recommended by friends. But for me i give its okok only. Using same sambal as mamak roti canai. But packed in banana leave give better taste. Surprisingly their karipap, kuih seri muka, donat all taste super. I give 5 star for them. Definitely will do revisit. ”
“ [Halal-Restaurant] I frequent this place solely for their Satay, and in my opinion, it’s among the finest in the PJ area. I find it more enjoyable than the Satay at Kajang HJ Samuri. What sets them apart is the tenderness of their satay, and I appreciate that they only serve lean meat without the usual additional layer of fat found in other establishments. If you’re a Satay enthusiast, I highly recommend giving this place a try. ”
“ The food is good, service is good, price is reasonable. The beef satay is one of the best that I ever had, every bite of beef is good, the meat is tender. ”
“ Always like d roti canai & dahl here. Dahl isn't spicy & more like heart warming soup, rich with veggies: potato, carrot, onion, tomato, brinjal, long bean... ”
“ Look old and not modern but the food quite tasty... Naan cheese Naan Biasa Roti Canai Nasi Goreng Kampung not tasty and too dry. Going there to try other food soon !!! ”
